NURSING
& HOME BASED CARE AGENCY
The
Robin Trust Nursing Agency is registered with the South African Nursing
Council (SANC no 1/70) and with the Board of Health Funders. The Agency
forms the basis for job creation at Robin Trust by offering Enrolled
Nurses, Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary Nurses and Home Based Carers to our
clients in the community and institutions such as hospitals, clinics
and Old Age Homes. Our carers and nurses are trained at our college
and if they meet the strict agency admission criteria, they are placed
on our panel. We offer both short and long term care – day &
night, up to 24 hour care.

Home
Based Care:
Our carers are especially trained to provide the best in basic home
health care for the client whilst in the comfort of their own homes.
Our home based care course, aligned with the Health & Welfare Sector
for Education & Training Authority (HWSETA), of 3 months ensures
that the student receives the best & most comprehensive training
available.
Carers are also able to assist their patients with the preparation of
basic meals as well as perform light household chores.
We know our carers are capable because we train
them!

• anyone acquiring assistance with the activities of daily living

What
makes us special?
Robin Trust believes in proper assessment of the client in
order to meet their special needs.
We believe all clients are unique and therefore require different levels
of care. To this end we send a fully qualified Registered nurse to the
client’s home to provide a comprehensive assessment after which
the appropriate level of care is selected.
Carers may also be utilized in institutions such as private and government
hospitals, old age homes, etc. Our well-trained carers will provide
the basic care for the patients this allowing the nursing staff to engage
in a higher level of care.
Our qualified nursing staff are there to support the carers and nurses
and provide training on an on-going basis.
