SOUL
CITY HIV/AIDS TRAINING: Social and behavior change
programmes are key factors in a comprehensive HIV prevention programme.
Soul City was established in 1992 to harness the power of mass media
to promote health and development in South Africa and beyond. After
recognizing the need for HIV and AIDS training to supplement the
Soul City HIV/AIDS materials, Soul City has developed training partnerships
with organizations nationally, to be able to train and distribute
their materials at a regional and local level. The Robin Trust is
proudly in partnership with Soul City to assist in covering the
HIV/AIDS training geographically. In this project plan the Robin
Trust trains trainers who train other trainers in the use of the
Soul City materials and follows the cascade approach to TRAIN the
TRAINER.
