NEST - Frail Care
In-patient
facility:
Our 18-bed old age home/frail care facility and Alzheimer’s
unit, affectionately known as the Nest, opened its doors in 1998 as
a registered Old Age home with the Department of Social Services and
Development. We are now registered as a Community Mental Health facility.
The Nest comprises mainly private rooms. We also have a 2-bedded and
one 4-bedded room, which is available for singles and couples. All rooms
are basically furnished but residents are welcome to bring in their
own furniture.
Frail and respite
care are offered on a short or long term basis.
Our qualified
team of nurses and Carers led by the senior registered nurse, offer
the best in frail care and the dementias. We have many years experience
specifically in the care of Alzheimer patients. We pride ourselves on
having the best resident-carer ratio available. This means there is
always someone around to see to the needs of your loved one.
